Some general information about this website.

SGBAY is founded in September 2001 by Jonathan Goh, the owner and Administrator of this site.

We have since moved across 2 different server and webhosting companies. Reason being that the hosting company is either too expensive or had little to offer. Currently, we are looking forward to moving to our new server located in Singapore, which will offer a much faster and more pleasant exprience to our local users.

SGBAY was initially registered and used mainly as some sorta of a permanent email domain for long term usage. We started off with a 50MB webhosting account with a reputable local webhosting company. We were experimenting with different ways and methods to build up a website. However due to work commitments and shortage of manpower, we ended up with nothing more than a domain providing email address and fowards and a little community forum for friends and family.

Currently, we have started to get active again and has began working on our new look and will start to provide other interesting services to our community.

We hope to establish ourselves as one of the leading IT communities in Singapore.
